Repeat Prescriptions

  • Please e-mail prescription requests by clicking on the Repeat Prescription Button below or email to

  • If you prefer you can email or drop in a handwritten list of your medications by completing the "repeat precription request form"

  • Only requests for established repeat prescriptions will be processed

  • Please do not email regarding clinical problems, these will not be dealt with

  • This service is managed periodically by a member of our administration team

  • All clinical issues please ring: 0579351225

  • Any inappropriate requests for medication of an addictive nature including pain relief, tranquilisers, sleeping tablets and Benzodiapines will not be processed

  • Any inappropriate requests for antibiotics will not be processed

Please state clearly: 

   1. Patient Name​​

   2. Date of Birth

   3. Address

   4. Contact telephone number / Contact Person

   5. Full list of required medications, dose and duration

   6. Please specify your chosen pharmacy - we can now send prescriptions via email to your chosen pharmacy

** Private prescription requests must be paid for in advance - we accept debit card payments over the phone **

  • All repeat prescription requests take 5 working days to be processed 

  • A Doctor / Nurse may ask to see you before we can renew a prescription as some medications / conditions require closer monitoring. This is for your safety and and also to comply with tight prescribing legislation

  • To promote best practice and patient safety, we cannot take prescription renewal requests over the telephone

  • If you have a new hospital prescription please leave this into the surgery or email this to the surgery to be processed
